KAYHAN PUBLIC BATH
This Hamam or public bath was built by a one of the statesman during the reign of Murad II. Koca Mehmet Pasha grand vizier From Amasya in order to provide income to his Mosque bearing the same name This Hamam is situated in a neighbourhood stated in archive records and in various historical
records as "Kaygan" it is also known as "Kayhan" Hamam or "Dülgerler Hamam" according to the related covered market This structure is a "Double Hamam" plan type both men's and women's section consist of a cool room (frigidarium or changing cubicle) a warm room (tepidarium) a hot room (caldarium) and a "Halvet" or washing cell section a water reservoir and a "Külhan" (or boiler room)(oven) each in 2013 this structure was restored by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality since then it is used as a social facility.
